Knockerball Hawaii is a local company with branding rights from Knockerball USA. We have been providing fun and professional Knockerball events for Oahu since January 2015. We have a full inventory of kid and adult sized balls ready for all your birthday party, bbq, teambuilding, church group, bachelor(ette) party and fundraisers! We are fully licensed and insured, as well as City and County approved for use at the park with a permit. You many have seen us in the community or on the news already, at your school's fundraiser, raising thousands of dollars for Aloha United Way Knocker Soccer Tournament, or just having a blast with the University of Hawaii football team.

What is Knockerball?

A Knockerball is an encompassing, protective inflatable ball with inner handles and adjustable shoulder straps that you wear like a backpack to play a variety of games like soccer and tag. It comes down to your knees so you can run around while but protects your head, so you can go upside-down safely.

What is included in a Knockerball rental?

We provide the full setup of the Knockerballs (delivery, inflation and breakdown). We will provide you with some options of "games" to play (above). We will also provide a soccer ball and goals and a referee to help run the games. If you know want to use your time to organize a Knocker-Soccer tournament with brackets and set teams, go for it! Color coordinate, dress up, have fun!

How many Knockerballs should I rent?

Our pricing is based on how many balls you rent, not the amount of people participating. We recommend customers rent about half the amount of balls that you have people for a standard 2 hour rental (example 20-30 people = 10 ball rental, 40-60 people = 20 ball rental) Keep in mind that you also need the space for the amount of balls you rent. Lots of people and not a lot of space, consider adding more time.

How old or how tall do I need to be to play Knockerball?

There is no age requirement per say.....it is more of a height and strength limit because it may be difficult to play Knocker Soccer and carry the ball on your shoulders (ball weighs 12- 17 lbs.) but people of all ages can at least get inside the balls and just roll around. In order to pick-up and play games with medium ball, we recommend being 5 to 10 years old. 10 years old and up to 6' tall, we recommend the large ball. Those over 6' must use the XL ball.

How much space do I need to play Knockerball?

You will need a minimum area of 30ft x30ft for a 2-6 ball rental. 8 ball rental requires a space the size of a basketball court. (50x90ft) 10 ball rental- half a soccer field (35x60 yards) 20 ball rental- full soccer field (65x120 yards) that will be divided for 2 separate games of 5v5

What types of surfaces can Knockerball be played on?

Knockerball requires a flat surface of nice grass, turf, carpet or gymnasium floor for use. No sand, no dirt, NO concrete. If nighttime event, area MUST be well lit with lighting from above. *Your event will be canceled and no refunds given if we come to a location that does not meet these criterion.

Does Knockerball Hawaii provide permits for use at State or City and County Parks?

No, it is up to the individuals renting to obtain a permit from the C&C Parks Department, but KB Hawaii is approved for use and permits are free! See www.honolulu.gov/parks/parkuse.html for more information or call 808-768-3440.

Can Knockerball be played anywhere that does not require a permit?

We do have access to some parks without the need to obtain a permit from C&C however, Knockerball Hawaii would need to check the availability. Can also come to any private location, provided you have obtained permission.

Do I need to sign a waiver in order for myself or my child to play Knockerball?

Yes, all participants must sign a waiver in order to play Knockerball. All over 18 must sign for themselves and parent/guardians must sign for those under 18 yrs old. Click "waiver" tab at the top of the page to sign electronically.

Is Knockerball Hawaii licensed and insured?

Absolutely, Knockerball Hawaii is registered with the State of Hawaii and has a $3 million aggregate insurance policy in place, which can add our corporate customers as additionally insured so HR departments can be assured that when employees are playing, they are protected.

Does Knockerball Hawaii own Knockerball?

No, KB Hawaii is an independent, local company with franchise rights. Knockerball TM is a Trademark name of the ball we employ in our business. We are the first in Hawaii to provide this service and product and have sole partnerships in place with Knockerball TM as well as a variety of facilities in the islands. This allows us to provide to you the most options to host your Knockerball event, as well as the best prices on Knockerball purchases.

Do we cancel Knockerball events because of rain?

Knockerball is played rain or shine, however KB Hawaii will cancel in the event of extreme or dangerous weather. In this event customer will be given the option to reschedule or receive refund with no penalty. Customer may only cancel rental outside of 48 hours prior to event for full refund. No refunds will be issued inside of 48 hours.
